Lovely. "Flowers that bloomed quickly and then exhaled into splashes of dried paint ready to crumble at the first touch." Ah.
Terrific! This is such a wonderful gift that you have. Thanks for sharing :)

DKN - they might be! I did some research and came upon some descriptive words like 'wild' and 'ragged' which more than describes those bonnie blues.

Wbaby - thank you, but all the credit goes to the pretty garden, it is a captivating place.

Lavendar - isn't it lovely? It was made for words!

pyrit - whenever I walk by that garden, I find it so hard to leaf behind.

Pen - these flowers were the opposite of lush. I wonder how they will look in the autumn? Of if they would have taken flight by then?

Hetta - thank you; I love that little garden, and I'm glad I could share it's miniature glories with you.

Oh, do you see little gardens and imagine them as fairy havens? I admit that I sort of do.

A few years ago, when I lived in a very old town near the sea, there was an accidentally vacant lot just down the block from us. An old house had been taken down, and the land was allowed to grow back to nature for a full year. Wildflowers took over in abundance, and I'd walk past wanting to fill my arms with them, yet always hesitated, not certain I had the right to the privilege. Then one day, it was all dug up for a foundation. A prefabricated house was installed in the space, with carefully arranged bushes and bulb plantings, and a neatly manicured lawn.
